Costain (West Africa) Plc have placed a £200,000 order for Summit 5000 to replace their current accounting and spreadsheet driven estimating systems. The Summit 5000 suite will provide an integrated Contract Management system including Estimating, Procurement Plant and Financials. Summit will give Costain the ability to track costs from Estimate through to final retention payment. |

RedSky IT wins the Construction Computing Awards Product of the Year 2007 for Summit
At a gala dinner in London on the 21st November, RedSky IT scooped the top award for Product of the Year for their Summit product, this prestigious award was voted for by the readership of Construction Computing Magazine and thus shows the importance of Summit to the industry.
RedSky IT's managing director Mike Aspinwall commented "Winning this award is a testimony to the strength of the Summit product and the commitment to customer service we have been cultivating this year. Its our great staff that have made this happen".
The Summit range of products is used in approximately 1,100 construction businesses in the UK and Middle East. Over the last year new installations of the flagship Summit 5000 product have increased significantly, with many companies wanting to take advantage of a single integrated system covering the complete construction management process, from estimating, sub contract tendering, ordering the sub contract packages, requisitions and ordering or plant and materials, managing plant, valuations, financials and payroll. The flexibility of being able to deploy the system on Windows/SQL Server or Linux/Oracle as well as a choice of web or windows user interface has also contributed to it popularity.
