RedSky IT Launch Disaster Recovery Service using hosted servers
RedSky IT are pleased to announce the launch of their Disaster Recovery service. Experiences by our customers (and our own involvement in the Buncefield Oil explosion) have prompted us to implement this service.
One of our customers had been evaluating this service for just a week when the unexpected actually happened, their office based existing server failed completely !! Within an hour we had switched them over to one of our hosted servers running with the backup the “DR” process had created.
They were then able to order a new server and when the replacement was in place the data was copied back from hosting and they were back to normal.
