HMRC to headline on RTI update at the next RedSky IT User Group

The next RedSkyIT User Group event takes place at the Hilton East Midland Hotel near Derby on Thursday 8th March.

HMRC is pushing ahead with the PAYE reforms and the introduction of Real Time Information (RTI), with the current timeline suggesting RTI will be mandatory for all employers by October 2013. Phil Nilson from HMRC returns to the User Group to provide an update on the changes and discuss how employees can prepare themselves for RTI. This is a hot topic and sure to be an interesting session.

2012 sees some fundamental changes to workplace pensions with the introduction of 'auto-enrolment'. Your company may already have an existing pension arrangement in place but you will still be impacted by these changes. Rupert Farmelo of B&CE will deliver a presentation on the challenges companies will face and will offer some practical solutions.

The afternoon breakout sessions will focus on helping you get more from the RedSkyIT solution you use. These product specific sessions will revisit some basic functionality that we might take for granted is used by all, as well as look at functionality that could help improve the way you use the software. Seperate breakout sessions will be run for: Summit 1000/Summit2000, Summit 3000/Summit5000, MENTOR, DEMA, and ProgressionAEC.

In addition to the above there will be opportunities to book sessions with members of our Support and Consultants teams. These one-to-one sessions are designed to look at topics specific to your company.

Membership of the independent RedSkyIT User Group is by subscription. For further information is available from Colin Murdoch, the User Group Secretary by completing the enquiry form HERE.

The User Group is a great way to learn more about the RedSkyIT solutions you use. These events are also offer opportunities to network with peers, share ideas, and discuss best practice with others in your industry.
