Linbrooke Services choose Summit 5000

Based in Sheffield, Linbrooke Services have been delivering network engineering solutions (Telecommunications, Power & Electrical and Security projects) across the globe to the World’s leading businesses for some 25 years. Recent successes include winning a 2 year national Framework contract to deliver fibre and copper infrastructure at Network Rail’s FTN (Fixed Telecommunications Network) trackside locations.

Linbrooke Services projects are complex in nature and delivery and, as a result, the business needed a flexible financial and operational software solution that was capable of delivering clear and accurate management information. Following a lengthy review of a variety of software solutions, managed by external procurement experts, Linbrooke chose Summit 5000 from RedSky IT.

The 40 concurrent user system includes modules for Financial Ledgers, Job Costing, Subcontractor Control, Service Management, Estimating, Contract Valuations, Human resources, Purchase Order Processing, Fixed Assets, Stock, Plant Management, Document Management, and E-Mail Archiving.

Linbrooke’s main driver was to pull together many different disparate systems running in each department into one integrated single database application. The lack of integration meant that a large amount of time was being wasted in processes to consolidate spreadsheets and re-keying data between systems.
