RedSky IT wins prestigious Oracle award
RedSky IT has picked up two major accolades for its work on SUMMIT, a new software solution recently launched to the UK's top contractors.
The first award came from IT giants, Oracle who named RedSky IT as its ‘E-business Integration Partner for 2004’ at a prestigious awards ceremony at Claridges, London. Presenting the award Ian Smith MD of Oracle UK described RedSky IT as being an outstanding partner in the UK and that they beat off stiff competition from other leading IT organisations and Oracle partners to win the award. He went on to add, “…..whether it is in marketing, customer service or business growth, we value our partners and are highly committed to their continued growth, development and success."
Simon Spring, Commercial Director at RedSky IT collected the award on behalf of the business and congratulated his own development team for the hard work they had displayed in bringing the new SUMMIT solution to the market in record time. Simon commented “This award is in recognition of the quality of the integration work that our team have achieved between Summit and Oracle's e-business suite. It is a tightly contested award and is testament to the quality of our Developers and Product Managers.”
The second accolade came from a group of leading contractors who visited the Chartered Institute of Building to gain the first view of SUMMIT at a launch organised by RedSky IT. Over two days, 70 attendees from the UK’s top 100 contracting firms attended the launch events where Mark Chambers, Managing Director, and his team were able to demonstrate the new enterprise software solution and the share news of the Oracle award.
“The reaction from contractors to both the Oracle award and SUMMIT has been fantastic,” said Mark, “This is the first software solution that covers the whole construction process from costing to operational management in one package,” He went on add, “SUMMIT is the new single application handling every element of business control for contractors, it is totally unique in the market at this time in that for any construction project the new package can help plan it, cost it, build it and bill it.”
