Top 20 architects RyderHKS select RedSky IT
RedSky IT (formerly Ramesys Construction Services), the largest specialist software provider to the professional services and construction markets has announced that it has won the contract to provide the award winning architects, RyderHKS with its Progression AEC software application.
Based in Newcastle, RyderHKS has a turnover of £7m and employs over 100 people. Ranked in the top 20 of the Architects 100 RyderHKS is known for designing some of the countries leading PFI (private funded investment) buildings including the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust, Fit for the Future Project and Redcar and Cleveland Council, Education Village.
The Progression AEC suite from RedSky IT is a comprehensive project accounting application and will be installed alongside RedSky’s Summit procurement suite. In addition, the Assimilate content management package will offer RyderHKS staff access to the valuable data within Progression AEC and Summit applications through a simple web browser interface.
Commenting on the news, managing director of RyderHKS, Mark Thompson said: “The growth of our business meant that our current system was unable to offer us the complexity of tools that we required. We spent a year assessing the major software companies with products for professional services and RedSky IT offered the most powerful solution that met all our requirements.”
