RedSky IT continues Middle East growth
RedSky IT, formerly known as Ramesys, the largest specialist software provider to the UK professional services and construction markets has announced that it has won the contract to provide Shannon Trading, the rapidly expanding Doha based construction group, with its enterprise finance and operational management software application solution, Summit.
RedSky IT, who have been active in the Middle East for 15 years and count top contractors Al Futtaim Carillion, Dutco Balfour Beatty, Khansaheb and Gulf Housing amongst their customers recently opened a dedicated office in Dubai to cater for the growing needs of the region rather than use a channel partner. The Doha win follows on from a contract to supply the financial and operational management software to an AMEC Spie / Hawk International Joint Venture contract worth $200m, to construct a 360km pipeline across Yemen for their client Total.
Commenting on the news, Shannon Trading Managing Director Mr. Moh’d Ghadban said “The growth of our business meant that we needed a system that was able to offer us the complexity of tools that we required. We spent a long time assessing the major software companies with products aimed at the construction and contracting marketplace and RedSky IT offered the most powerful solution that met all our requirements.”
