Oracle & RedSky IT announce new contractor wins
RedSky IT has won a raft of new contracts with SME contractors, as companies sign up for the new Summit 3000 construction software. It is the first budget level product to be delivered by RedSky IT in partnership with Oracle and over £100,000 of new software solutions have been sold in the past month as a result of this new package entering the market.
Contractor Carmac Building & Civil Engineering is a new customer for RedSky IT and an example of one business that was attracted to the power of Oracle and the market specialism of RedSky IT. The Northamptonshire-based civil engineering contractor wanted a construction specific software package and has opted for a five user Summit 3000 system.
Colburn Developments, a housebuilder based in Cirencester, has been a RedSky IT customer since 1999. It has recently upgraded to the Summit 3000 system for six users and aims to increase its turnover from £9m to £10m using the system.
Finance Manager at Colburn, Mark Chambers, said: “We’ve been really pleased with the Summit 2000 system and we want to continue improving on efficiency and our ability to get even more from the system in terms of cost management. An added draw is that Summit 3000 is easier to use and is delivered on the Oracle Database a powerful combination that helps future proof our investment.”
