Over 300 People Attend RedSky IT Customer Events

Over the past two weeks more than 300 people have attended RedSky IT events across the UK.

Although the main topic for discussion was year-end processing and the introduction of Real Time Information (RTI) delegates also heard from employment specialists on topics including Age Discrimination, Pension Auto-Enrolment, and Salary Exchange.

This was the second customer event to include a Learning Lab. This is a separate area staffed by RedSky IT consultants, support staff, and developers all available to provide advice and guidance to delegates. The Learning Lab continues to grow in popularity and it is something we are delighted to support.

With the start of the new tax-year just a couple of weeks away, delegates took part in product specific workshops learning how to prepare for and run the year-end and how to prepare for the start of RTI processing. This is the biggest change to the way PAYE is collected since the system was introduced around 70 years ago and we can confirm that updates are available for all RedSkyIT software to support RTI. Please refer to http://wiki.redskyit.com/wiki/RTI for more information (login service password service).

Copies of all slides and workshop hand-outs are available from the member area of the Independent User Group website www.redskyitug.org.uk

User Groups are important events in our calendar. They are an opportunity to meet with customers, hear their views, and gain vital feedback on our software and services. We use the feedback to continually develop and improve what we do. These events also allow delegates to hear from external organisations such as the Inland Revenue on topics relevant to the industry. The next event run by the independent RedSky IT User Group will take place Thursday 10th October. Full details have yet to be confirmed however in the meantime we will shortly announce dates for the next set of Regional User Meetings, which will take place late April and May. We look forward to welcoming more customers to these events throughout the UK.
