RedSky IT succeeds in Caribbean construction market

RedSky IT, (formerly Ramesys Construction Services) the largest specialist software provider to the construction, contracting and professional services markets, continues to expand its business globally, by announcing two new contracts in the Caribbean. Having already established a successful operation in the Middle East, RedSky IT is now supplying firms in the growing Caribbean construction industry, with particular success in Barbados.

RedSky IT won two new contracts to supply contractor West Coast Construction and house builder Spring Homes with five-user Summit 2000 construction accounts systems to help them manage their expanding operations.

Based on the island of Barbados, West Coast Construction has a large portfolio of construction projects throughout the Caribbean and parts of the United States. Keen to adopt a reliable system that could comprehensively meet their document imaging and work flow requirements, West Coast undertook a thorough appraisal of the software applications on the market, before opting for RedSky IT’s Summit 2000 system.

Also based on Barbados, housebuilder Spring Homes decided to purchase Summit 2000 as many of their finance team already had previous experience of the system and implementing an already familiar software package, would significantly reduce training time.

Mark Chambers, managing director at RedSky IT said: “We already have customers currently using our Summit 2000 software in Barbados and through their recommendation we have been introduced to both West Coast and Spring Homes. Construction plays a major part in the continued development of the Caribbean and we are responding to the demand for industry focused and proven software”.
