RedSky IT recently took part in its first fund raising event for CRASH, the London Dragon Boat race. We finished with a very creditable result. However more importantly we raised just under £4,000 for CRASH. The amount was enough for RedSky to be awarded a prize for raising the most funds |

Costain (West Africa) Plc have placed a £200,000 order for Summit 5000 to replace their current accounting and spreadsheet driven estimating systems. The Summit 5000 suite will provide an integrated Contract Management system including Estimating, Procurement Plant and Financials. Summit will give Costain the ability to track costs from Estimate through to final retention payment. |

Summit new wins
RedSky IT, the largest specialist software provider to the construction, contracting and professional services markets has won a raft of new contracts as customers sign up for Summit financial software.
![]() | Contractor Carmac Building & Civil Engineering Ltd is a new customer for RedSky IT. The Northamptonshire-based civil engineering contractor wanted a construction specific software package and has opted for a five user Summit 3000 system. Robin Chappell, Finance Controller said: “I have previously worked with RedSky IT in a former job and I knew they would have exactly what we require.” |
![]() | Colburn Developments, a housebuilder based in Cirencester, has been a RedSky IT customer since 1999. It has recently upgraded to the Summit 3000 system for six users and aims to increase its turnover to £10m using the system. Finance Manager Mark Chambers said: “We’ve been really pleased with the Summit 2000 system and we want to continue improving on efficiency and our ability to get even more from the system in terms of cost management. An added draw is that Summit 3000 has an improved user interface and is delivered upon the Oracle Database 10g Express Edition – a powerful combination that helps future proof our investment.” |

Inspire is a recently set up business and had no software in place for accounts and contract costing. Their founder had previously used a RedSky IT system and knew that the system would work and be easy to use. |
