Although it is a very traditional area within the course of construction, the estimating process is an area that can benefit from automation - saving time, money, avoiding rework and improving accuracy. Our solutions are designed for all types and sizes of contractors from small start-up businesses to main contractors and house builders.
Construction estimating for contractors
Summit Estimating is our modern Windows developed construction estimating and commercial management software solution for contractors. It is delivered for both Unix and Windows server environments, runs on the SQL Server or Oracle 10g Database and can also be delivered in a web browser interface. Summit Estimating offers true remote site capability for users to produce accurate estimates, wherever they are located. Scanned document imaging allows the user to price against the original bill of quantities without the need for time consuming Optical Character Reader (OCR) conversion.
Industry standard estimating
Summit Estimating uses industry standard pre-built libraries for budget and costing information such as SMM7, CESSM, roads, bridges and railways. Summit Estimating can be seamlessly integrated with our core financial applications, so that contractors can benefit from one single solution for both financial and estimating control.
Estimating software for small businesses
For smaller start-up companies we have a standard out of the box pre-configured product called Summit Estimating SBE (Small Business Edition).
