Long-standing RedSky customer Gill Insulation Nottinghamshire and Eastern Limited is migrating from AXiM legacy software to the latest system. Efficiency is the main driver for the change.
Gill Insulation Nottinghamshire and Eastern Limited has been a customer of RedSky for around 23 years. Accounts Manager Jill Knight joined the business three years ago and is spearheading the migration to the latest system.
“In recent years our company has grown and increased its turnover. The business has moved forward but we haven’t been investing in our system,” she said. “We’ve decided that now is the time to put that right. I’m actually quite excited at the thought of being trained in the new system!”
Migrating to the latest software will enable Jill to introduce new, more efficient ways of working, including the opportunity to run the accounts for the company’s two offices and consolidate them into a single report utilising the Business Analytics GL Reporter tool.
She added: “I’m really looking forward to the reporting side of things because the figures will be pulled from within the system. That’s a much safer process than cutting and pasting them onto a spreadsheet, which always introduces the risk of human error. It’s going to save me a lot of time, especially when it comes to contract costing.
