Strategic partnership opens door to integrated application for payment solution

RedSky has entered into an exciting new strategic partnership that enables Summit and Payapps users to access a best-of-breed integrated solution to manage their subcontractor application for payment process.

Payapps provides a platform to help automate and manage applications for payment and payment notices, saving time while also reducing errors and duplication. It improves supply chain collaboration, cash flow and the transparency of stakeholder information.

An integrated solution

Together, RedSky’s Summit and Payapps’ platform enable main contractors and their subcontractor supply chain to work with standardised application and payment notices and ensure compliance with the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act.

Once connected, Projects, Subcontractor Accounts and Subcontractor Orders raised in Summit are available in Payapps. The subcontractor can then submit detailed applications for measured work, materials and variations.

The surveyor makes an assessment in Payapps, and this flows through to Summit. A Payment Certificate is created, handling the requirements of both the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and Reverse Charge VAT, and the transaction appears in a subcontractor payment workflow for the Finance team to process.
