Szerelmey to migrate from CONSTRUCT to Summit

Established in 1855, RedSky customer Szerelmey is one of the country’s leading experts in new-build stonework, faience and restoration. Szerelmey has decided that the time is right to migrate from CONSTRUCT to Summit.

When Szerelmey started using CONSTRUCT, back in 2004, it was exactly what the company needed: an entry-level accounts software product for small construction companies. However, fast-forward to 2019 and the business has expanded considerably, with a group turnover of approximately £30 million.

Szerelmey recognised that the business had outgrown the functionality offered by CONSTRUCT. For example, the Commercial team needed greater visibility of costing on contracts, as well as the ability to do real-time cost reporting. The Buying team was keen to streamline the purchase order process by introducing a full procurement system. And the Accounts team wanted to reduce the time it spent on administrative tasks, including query handling, costing invoices and distributing them.

To meet all these needs in full, Szerelmey has decided to migrate to Summit. The system implementation will include Summit’s Finance, Procurement, Business Analytics and Invoice Register modules.

Anthony Puma, RedSky’s Senior Sales Executive, said: “In today’s fast-paced business environment, it’s vital that teams are able to work together and access project information quickly, so that everyone involved plays a key role in the financial success of a project.”

“I am delighted that Szerelmey is migrating to Summit as part of its long-term relationship with RedSky. It’s great to work with yet another progressive customer that recognises the importance of driving efficiencies and providing better controls over the financial performance of its projects. We look forward to working with Szerelmey for many more years to come.”
